Deleting the camera record from a photo should not cost you image quality. This tool rewrites the file's container without its EXIF block and copies the compressed picture data across untouched, so the pixels that come out are the same ones that went in. You see exactly what was removed before you download.
This tool accepts JPG, PNG and WebP files. Everything is decoded by your own browser, so the formats available depend on what your browser can open - which for HEIC in particular varies between Safari and other browsers.

Rather than decoding and re-encoding the picture, this tool deletes the metadata block from the file and copies the already-compressed image data straight through, so the result is pixel-for-pixel identical to the original. Most tools that claim to remove EXIF actually recompress the whole photo.
Yes. GPS is not a separate thing living alongside EXIF; it is a sub-directory inside the EXIF block. Removing EXIF necessarily takes the coordinates, the altitude and the GPS timestamp with it, and the tool re-reads the output afterwards to confirm they are gone.
No, but it is a real risk that this tool handles explicitly. Rotation is stored as an EXIF tag rather than in the pixels, so naively deleting EXIF leaves some photos displayed on their side. When the tool detects a rotated photo it bakes the rotation into the pixels first and tells you that the image was re-encoded to do so.
Anything that is not EXIF: XMP, IPTC, colour profiles and text records all survive, because this tool does one specific job. The results panel lists exactly what was taken out and what stayed, and if you want everything gone the metadata remover is the stronger option.
Usually a little. An EXIF block with an embedded thumbnail preview is commonly 10 to 60 KB, so removing it shrinks the file by roughly that much without touching the picture. The saving is a side effect, not the point.
